Media entrepreneur K. Fatimah Woolfolk is a casting director, producer, writer and visionary from Lexington, Kentucky residing in the Washington D.C. metro area. 

 

Woolfolk began her journey as a classical, first-chair violinist and actress while in grade school. She participated in various work shops, camps and performances with The Lexington Philharmonic and The Lexington Children's Theatre. Acting credits include national commercials and training videos for Urgent Treatment Centers and Long John Silvers, theatrical stage productions, independent films and a five-part, educational television series produced by The University of Kentucky called ‘Mind Over Math’. For decades the show aired on several educational networks including The Learning Channel. Fast forward, In 2011 her non-traditional play, The Play: "NO! MORE WAR!" was featured at the 2nd Annual DC Black Theatre Festival.

Passing up an opportunity to attend The American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York after high school, Woolfolk instead attended a private business college in her hometown. She earned a degree in Marketing Management and Travel/Tourism from Sullivan University. She is currently  pursuing a second degree in Communications at Howard University. 

 

The enthusiasm for her work is as evident as ever as she continues to charter a diverse, inimitable and pioneering approach to media. She has over thirty years in the arts industry and looks forward to evolving and sharing her message.

 

Today, her focus is on providing casting services, talent development and planting the seeds for her life long project, 'Confessions of Love’ - An engaging blend of experimental media meant to entertain, inspire and empower humanity.
